Family Travel Insurance

Good afternoon,

There are 9 of us,

6 adults

1 child

2 infants booked together today for 9/2022

Our travel agent suggested one family policy so that if anything happened to any of us the rest of the party were covered for cancellation.

Can anyone recommend companies who would provide such cover (obviously with covid cover included)

One potential fly in the ointment is that the 2nd infant isn't due until mid November, will this prove a problem to setting up policy now

Some family policies can include children up to the age of 21 (some 18) living at home or away at uni, but other family members that are adult will need their own policy.

I went to Staysure online who allowed me to quote for the group on the basis I wanted, that is;

DW & I

Son, DIL & 2 children

Daughter, SIL & 1 child

All within the one policy

Children are all over 30 and stay at their own addresses

TBF as we are waiting for child 3 to be born, I didn't get further than the quote stage and you may be proved correct in due course as I didn't have to enter any address details but early indications are extended family can book under one policy.

Never used Staysure but for the last few trips to the US we’ve taken friends of my daughters and Insure & Go allowed us all to be on the same policy.
