Restaurants in Liverpool

Hi all, my DD15 wants a day in Liverpool shopping for her birthday next month, we usually just find somewhere when we are there but thought I’d book somewhere this time, there is 5 of us and our youngest is 11 so want something family friendly, nice but not too posh😀

Open to suggestions for everything except seafood really, we will be driving and shopping probably mainly in Liverpool one but also like a walk over to the Albert Dock

I love the Baltic Market and it means everyone can chose a different cuisine if they fancy. A lot of Liverpool’s best independent restaurants are in there now. However, that would depend what day you went.
For tapas, I love el gato negro and salt house and bacaro. Hanover street social is really nice and Casa Italia is love,y too. I always try to go to independents when possible but there are loads of chains too

Gusto at Albert Dock is nice - it’s a chain but a small one!

There is the Smugglers Cove at the Albert Dock
I've never been but DS said its good, and it's a themed family orientated place
