I think they could work together as they are very similar in both design & colour

Personally I do plain walls so I can change out the bedding & curtains to whatever pattern or colour scheme I fancy at the time.

Plaster should be readily available now - where have you tried?

We have tried everywhere to be honest, usual diy places & building merchants. The only place available is about a 2 hour drive away so my husband doesn’t fancy a 4 hour round trip and would rather wait.
His brother is a builder and apparently its rarer than rocking horse 💩 at the moment 😫😫

My DH was at B & Q as it opened at 7am last week. He joined the queue of builders as they put out a pallet of plaster. Even though it was limited to 5 bags per person, he thought they’d be gone by 8am. Perhaps ask at your local store about deliveries, as they are getting them, and be there as they put it out - they obviously don’t last long.

To add, I told this to someone yesterday, who told me they’d seen a flat bed Truck delivering a full truck of plaster to their local Travis Perkins a couple of weeks ago. He immediately rang his son, who’d been on furlough from the LA housing department because of a lack of supplies to actually do the work. His son rang TP, before the lorry had been unloaded, and was told that every bag on it had been reserved!

My son works for B&Q and he served someone that drove a couple of hours for plaster as it was only place that had it . It does say on the website it’s in very high demand .
