Thank you all who have replied. I think we will re-visit Silver Springs this year as I have enjoyed it before, but had heard nothing about it for a long time.

When we were travelling back from Orlando on Friday we were chatting with a very nice girl (family been to Florida loads of times) who said they'd had a lovely day at Silver Springs. Although not cheap, it was very relaxing contrast to the bustle and hype of the main parks.
She was enthusiastic enough to pique my interest. I must find out some more on the website! mcsue |
