Mobile Adding extra person - Disney

Does anyone have experience of booking with Disney with the free dining offer, and then adding an additional person onto the room later. Did the additional person also still get free dining? Would the only additional charge be for tickets for that person?

Yes it’s no problem, we’ve done it for this year. As long as the room fits the extra person you just pay the cost of their ticket and they get the same deal you booked (free dining). I think when adding the extra person you also pay their £50 deposit (taken off the final bill). As the price will go up it won’t incur an amendment fee.

Thanks for that info. I am going to book a solo trip for next year but my friend might come too, she can’t decide yet so I can add her later

I did this last year, added my niece 9 weeks before we went. As already said just paid £50 deposit and the only extra cost was for her ticket. She did get the free ddp too.

So I’m looking at booking for my family of four for art of animations. My mum may come too but doesn’t want to commit yet. So should I book a room that could cater for her in case then what do I do call them up before or wait until check in?
Thank you (very new to this)

If she doesn't go -no problem. If she decides to then phone up and ask for another person to be added to the booking. All you pay for is tickets in order to get the dining plan.
