Magic Run Weekend - is everyone ready?!

Only just over three weeks till Magic Run Weekend and wondering how everyone is getting on with training and more importantly, costume making!

My training is going much better than last year! I think I'm over the mental block and actually think of myself as a runner now which helps! I went to Park Run and enjoyed it last weekend - who even am I?!

We've left costumes to the crafty one of the group so I've only had a sneak peak but it looks amazing! Thank goodness for talented friends

Anyone need a pep talk?!

I'm only doing the 5k this year, I did all three in 2017 and 2018. However I will be up early with the others for the 10k and Half to cheer all 9 of them on from Main Street!
No costume this year for me either but I did get a Lion King top in Primark (it's a PJ top but who will know! ) for the 5k so I'm going with the theme!

So excited especially as registration for all 4 of us was finally completed last week! Have even run on holiday this week to try to keep some training going 😀 Costumes not so great at the moment - Mickey Ears might be as good as it gets unless we get inspired 😔

Loads of people don't dress up - there will be masses of people wearing the event tshirts if you don't want to bother with anything else

I'm not sure if I ever posted on your threads, but your C25K posts on here really inspired me to keep going with it (back when running for 2 mins was almost impossible and I just didn't think I could do it).

Wow! Go you! We can all do it we just need to believe in ourselves

I've just rewarded my 12 mile run this morning with a Chinese.
That's it now though no more naughtiness until the big weekend and then lots of Mickey shaped treats 😋
