Sheraton hotel, Miami

Hello,

I have just posted a very similar thread for the premier inn haaa! Once we arrive in Miami we will be collecting our car and then will be needing food. We are staying at the Sheraton. Has any one ever stayed here before? Is there any food walking distance to the hotel or very close?

Hi. We have stayed at the Sheraton twice. It�s a nice hotel right across the road from the car hire centre. I don�t think there is anything in the immediate vicinity for somewhere to eat, but we booked a club room and just had the evening snacks that they provided in the club room. There wasn�t a massive variety, but enough to tide us over. We had breakfast in there the following morning too. There is a restaurant at the hotel you can use if you wanted. As an aside, The Sheraton seems very expensive compared to previous years and we have booked the holiday inn just down the street as an alternative.

We stayed at the Sherton 10 days ago, for 1 night on arrival.
Pros:
Close to the airport, short walk from the Car hire centre (you can get the car hire monorail), we picked up the car next day.
Cons:
Poor breakfast (esp if you pay separately)
Tired rooms
No food options a close walk
Expensive (needed some water in the morning, the small shop inside was $11 for 2 small bottles)
Think I will look at other options next time

interesting! Thank you for letting me know guys! I was hoping food would be nearby to be honest. We want to avoid driving too much until the morning as its our first time in the USA. We have booked club level but I generally don't eat much on aeroplanes so would need something bigger when we arrive.

There�s not much walking distance, but you could get an Uber if you didn�t want to drive. There�s an IHOP not far (about 10 mins) We stayed at the Hilton on Blue a lagoon Drive, and drove to the McDonald�s about 5 mins away, which is probably about 15 mins from the Sheraton. There�s a Wendy�s next door to Maccas. Too tired for anything else!

That�s disappointing, we stayed there in 2019 and the breakfast was incredible. I was planning to stay again but may need to re-evaluate 😒

I've looked it up and researched other places. When we booked it looks like we got a good price for club level. We are just going to stay anyway and then either uber or drive to nearest mcdonalds I think. Is there not any food in the airport we could eat before leaving?

We also arent planning on having breakfast there and are going to find somewhere en route to orlando as we are planning on leaving early.
