We have been in Florida for one black Friday. A lot of the shops open early (about 6) and only have offers until 8 or 9 in the morning. The mall car park was extremely busy but the mall itself was OK. Got a few good deals but nothing earth-shattering.

We were in Bradenton on the Gulf coast, no idea what it is like in Orlando though.

Don't go anywhere near a Walmart unless you fancy a bit of a scrum. (as seen on tv)

Been there in November a few years ago and the shops seemed to pull folks in with a few amazing bargains, but they disappeared fast. We went to Florida Mall later in the day and their was lots of reductions still available, but the likes of the 80% plus off deals were gone. So were a lot of the frantic crowds.

ha ha Someone else had posted a while back about the Walmart. My sons want to go to watch
My hubby is a real bargain hunter so we will probably go to the outlets or mall. To be honest I'll be going for a coffee and leaving them to it.

There's usually cheap TVs and other electronic, otherwise it's mostly hype.

Been twice over Thanksgiving and Black Friday, personally i found it too busy, not just the shops which were crazy but also the parks. Won't be doing that again ! I'm there in November this year but fly home just before the madness begins.

Exactly the same for me. In the last few years I've noticed many/most stores have 'Pre Thanksgiving' sales and special events where I've done most of my Christmas shopping.
