We just missed Mardi Gras this year , we saw a lot of the decorations. We will make sure we get to be there one year though - it must be crazy. Yes breakfast was distinctly below par

We hadn't realised it would be quite so hot - and then it was quite cold a few weeks ago. Best be testing out all the other months I think

Its just so different to all the other big cities we have visited and so laid back that it really appealed to us - not as much walking as say NY or Washington and such beautiful buildings - and then outstanding food and cocktails. Definitely a place that hit the spot for us.
