Mobile We booked!

Will be mine and my baby DS’s first trip to DLP and DP went 25yrs ago with school! DS will be 17mths old.
I can’t wait 😊
Going next May for 4nts - Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed. So will probably do parks Mon-Wed. We’re staying at Santa Fe.

How easy would it be to have a day in Paris on arrival day if we have an early flight? As we understand the parks will be packed! Or would you just check in and go for a wander round Disney Village?

If you have an early flight then a full day in the village you might be bored, its not that big. You can get the train to Paris from Marne Le Vallee and back again but it would depend on what you would want to see in Paris. My hubby did it, he left about 10am and was back by about 6. He saw most of the sights but there was only him (we stayed in the park haha).

If you get to DLP mid morning I'd go into the parks and see how it goes (use the app for live wait times etc). Fantasyland tends to be the busiest part of the park on the weekends and that's the bit most suited to young children. But theres lots of other things to see and if it really does get too busy to be pleasant for you, that's when you head back to your hotel for a nap. The main park will be open until very late in may - towards the end of the month park closing time is 11pm. The parks get a bit quieter in the evenings.

I think I’d struggle to do everything I wanted in Paris in less than a day with a little one, and it might tire you out for your first day in Disney. We went for a whole day (arrived around 9-10am and finally got back to the car around midnight.) Luckily, that was after DLP and while we were camping, so we could have a lazy day the next day.

You could probably fill a half-day with a wander around the village, visiting all the hotels, etc (if it’s nice, you could take your toddler to the hotels’ little play areas, etc.)

Or as above, you could have a look around the parks, go for a rest once you can get into your room, then make a late night of it to enjoy the shorter queues in the evening, and watch Illuminations.

Thanks everyone! Yes you’re probably right, not going to try and squeeze Paris in. Will just enjoy the village and the parks, and have a rest after travelling too x
