Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster and Hyperspace Mountain

For those who have been to Florida how do these two rides compare

Rock ‘n’ Roller was meant to be shut when we go but now it’s going to be open. It was shut when we went two years ago

I will ride it in Florida but probably only once but DH and DD would go on again and again given the choice

Only DH has been on Space Mountain and said its very rickety but hasnt been on it for quite a few years in Flroida

Rock n Roller Coaster is exactly the same ride layout as Florida. The story is different and the scenery in the ride is different, but the actual rollercoaster is the same.

Hyperspace Mountain is very different to Florida. It has inversions and a launched start, similar to Rock n Roller. Its a comfortable ride with the new restraints they added last year.

Are the restraints on Hyperspace mountain more secure that space mountain at WDW? I was convinced my daughter was going to fly out all the way round and ended up leaning right forward and holding onto her. She was only just tall enough and skinny and I wasn't convinced about the lack of shoulder restraints! She on the other hand loved it and had her arms up all the way round! Hoping not to have a repeat of that at DLP, fo rmy nerves.

No it’s totally different at DLP. Very securely fastened in!

Space Mountain at WDW has no inversions, Hyperspace Mountain does so the restraints are suitable for that. I don’t think the track layout on Rock and Roller is the same. It is similar but not the same.

Brilliant! Although with the inversions does that mean the height limit is increased?

DLP is 132cm for Space Mountain in DLP & 113cm in WDW (so quite a big difference)
RnR is 120cm at both
