What do people do the day before their WDW holiday?

Travel to the airport for the night before stay, worry about the flight and whether we have forgotten anything! great way to start the holiday isnt it? !

We book the day off the day before, have our hair cut and my nails done. We then go to airport and have a nice relaxing evening

We fly on a Wednesday but staying Tuesday night at a Stansted hotel. My Dad is driving us, probably about 7pm so that day will consist of
- Have a lay in as next day will be mega long & tiring
- Dinner out
- Making sure laundry is up to date so I don't have it to do on top of holiday clothes
- Emptying fridge and taking things to Dad to use rather than throw them
- Dealing with a DD and her BF who will spend most of the day together as they won't see each other for three weeks!
- Checking passports etc every half hour
- Changing beds
- Tidying up so it's not a state when we walk back in and go urgh
- Making sure I have set the sky plus for Eastenders and the Olympics opening ceremony
- Packing last minute things as I plan to pack on the Monday
- Ordering either a Tesco/Asda delivery for the day after we land home
- Check and re-check hand luggage bags to make sure nothing is in there that shouldn't be and toiletry items are in plastic bag or suitcases
- Make sure girls have turned everything off in their rooms
- Pack their teddies (yes they are 19 & 16 but they always take them!)

Come 7pm ish it'll be load the car up to drive to mum & dads ready to move cases from my car to dads, leave my car at his house and head off to Stansted. Have a nice drink in their bar and have showers before bed then set the alarms for 4am as we fly at 8am

- Ensuring all my programmes are being recorded while i am away!
- I have packed enough underwear!
- Clothes and shoes are packed and the necessities
- Passports and all documentation gets checked at least 4 times
- Setting an alarm to wake up
- Saying goodbye to my dog who i wont see for 2 weeks

Clean everything, last minute arrangements, completely empty fridge. Double check I have everything essential packed!

Clean, wash clothes, iron and go to work and then not sleep all night as I worry about everything I may have forgotten to pack and bad thoughts about oversleeping and missing flight!

We fly on the Monday and I'm working the Saturday late shift, sleepover and the Sunday early 😭 From work will be picking up kids, OH and cases in a taxi, heading to Edinburgh airport for twilight check in at 4pm and going to the Hilton with the 3 kids while the OH goes for his nightshift. 😱 He's getting away at 4am as our first flight is at 6.40am. Suppose I will need to act like the Friday is our day before and get everything done then as I'm off work.

Panic. Check, recheck. Do some light things with the kids like colouring so little mess and no chance of last minute injury. <worrier>
