The only stuff under our floor was all the junk the tradesmen left before the floor went on

Had a leak in our bathroom which took ages to find, the plastic pipe from the shower hadn�t been held up by a brace and had come apart. The smell from rotten wet rubbish was the only thing that alerted us to it so I suppose it had a purpose

So glad I didn�t find that croc under my floor I would have had to move house

We moved into our current house in 2005. We had new central heating put in by a mate and he had me crawling under the floorboards.
I found the dash board and steering wheel of a 1960s Cortina, 2 sewing machines in numerous parts, bizarely about 10 bottles of unopened Spirits and all sorts of other paraphanalia.
No Crocodiles..thank God!

I had a pupil disappear off to Oz with his family for a few weeks and all he brought me back were some wildlife coasters!

(Actually, a lovely gift, which I still use.)

Am I the only one thinking that floor would look stunning if it was sanded and rewaxed?
