Fort Myers Beach

We are spending 4 nights here. Does anyone have any restaurant recommendations or things to do in the area.
Thanks

Nervous Nellies and Yucatan restaurants are nice just off Ft Myers main road, Estero Blvd - and we like Mr Tequila for Mexican food.
Ft Myers beach has all the usual beach attractions- para sailing & gliding, jet skis etc for hire. There are also numerous boat trips, dinner sailings and fishing excursions you can do. You can also spend a day at the Edison & Ford museum, go over the the islands of Sanibel & Captiva and visit lots of nature trails and parks - as well as huge shopping malls and dinner shows. Enjoy

First of all I'd better say that it's 15 years since we stayed on FMB but we remember having nice meals at Anthony's Junkanoo, Beach Pierside Grill, Gulfshore Grill and Matanzas. The first three are overlooking the gulf and the latter overlooks the inland waterway.

They all appear to still have live websites.

We can also recommend the Edison Ford museum and shelling on Sanibel beach.

Beach pier side grill has a live webcam you can view - running out the door or I would hyperlinks it - let's you see beach, restaurant etc

We like Heavenly Biscuit on Mango St for breakfast.
Looks like a shack from outside with hardly any seating but there are queues out the door especially at the weekend.
Their cinnamon rolls, banana bread & sausage biscuits are very very good; cash only.

Nervous nellie's is lovely as is pierside grill, from what I've heard smoking oyster brewery has a great atmosphere too.
For things to do there are loads of beach activities and some beautiful nature parks/reserves
