Hi there. After reading a previous thread re this company, I’ve received a very good quote for 2 weeks rental in Easter 22 through Avis. My only concern is I cannot seem to find any info on the insurance. Is there a ‘catch’ ? Will I be hit with extra charges on arrival. Bit worried about committing at moment and was looking for any info. Thanks

Hi. Firstly have you created an account as that gets you extra discount.

If you go to the right of the car you have selected you will see a Zero Excess Option or a Full protection with Premium Coverage info button you can click

I always opt for the Zero excess one. Click on it and it tells you what coverage you have.

This is the summary.

Liability Insurance
provided by supplier

Fire Insurance

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Theft Protection (TP)

No Excess

I assume you are reffering to .com website rather than the .co.uk (the latter being aimed at the UK market), if you click on rate details it confirms what exactly is included in your relevant package. Do note as I missed out the other day, some of Autoeuropes packages only include liability insurance up to the states minimum, which I think is around 20k? When a lot of places like Andy include up to 1mill.
