This is so helpful! In all my planning I hadn't picked up on the difference between fixed price restaurants and those where your price is set by what you order.
So, to check I have understood correctly, if we are in a table service restaurant which isn't a fixed price we can order any of the options for any of our party and just pay for the meals themselves? For example, at San Angel Inn Restaurante an adult could order a kid's meal? |

Yes. If there are prices next to the items then just order whatever you want.

Thanks for confirming, this is a game changer! I had thought that ordering child meals for adults was only an option at quick service, I had totally missed the distinction between set prices and price per item.

We don’t tend to order kids meals but we will share or get a starter as a main.
We went to yak and yeti and had three meals between 4 and shared them family style. |

I would assume yes if ordering off the fixe price menu- in other Disney restaurants they have usually given us an larger/adult sized portion of the kids meal if it’s charged at the adult price. I
Even over here kids meals are usually for under 10/12years the big issue with Disney is the huge increase in price |
