I think people are finally grasping that (from the outset) they won't feature any ports... Out to see from Southampton and back again.
TBH, I think I'm up for it. It depends what ships P&O use. If it isn't Britannia or Iona, then I will probably go with Princess, both are Royal Class ships (same basic hull as Britannia) and both have the new Medallion technology. Although I'm not too sure if Princess will be a bit too stuffy? I am used to RCI and DCL.

Have sailed with Princess and RCI and would use both again. Food used to be slightly better on Princess but on our last RCI cruise they had upped the standard and we both enjoyed it. It depends more on the facilities on the ship as we have enjoyed the ice skating rink on RCI and the flo rider. We find the mini golf more ‘fun’ on the RCI ships rather than just standard holes on Princess. We have only cruised as adults so can’t comment on child facilities. When it comes to shows and adult entertainment they both have very good shows, talks etc.

Not for me to be honest. It would need to be seriously cheap for me to give it any consideration. Keeping everything crossed for our 14 night cruise on Iona in October. 🤞

I couldn’t do it with all the social distancing and the masks I don’t think.
If it’s very cheap then maybe I would consider |

Yep, I only see myself doing a 3-4 day one initially, so as long as there is a selection of lengths to choose from. I wouldn't want to commit to a full 7 day at first if the on board experience isn't gonna be the best.

I would be interested in a short domestic cruise. Realistically though if they are only sailing from Southampton it would be just too far for us for a 3/4 night cruise. If there were any Liverpool sailings I would definitely consider if priced reasonably enough.
Thinking about it we could attach a few days to our trip to Cornwall. Hope the cruises go on sale soon. Edited at 10:02 PM. |
