Caribbean Beach Resort FOOD?!

So we’ve switched from Art Of Animation to Caribbean Beach Resort. Looking for ideas and recommendations for the food side of things. Quick service or table. All info gratefully received as it will be a first stay at CBR for us. Non DDP so any costs will be great

Obviously it personal preference, however we weren’t to impressed with either the quality or offerings at the QS restaurant the Market Place. However we didn’t try any of the table dining.
We visited in 2019 as a point of reference.
We did enjoy the complex’s though, not wishing to put you off in any way.

We really enjoyed our meals there in 2019, and you can see them in my food report (link in my signature) No prices though as we were on the qsdp.

Personal preference - but we've stayed at CBR twice now for 2 week stays and have to agree, their QS offerings were very poor indeed, including the dining hall area ambience (Although they've might have been refurbished recently, maybe - or not? )

We had a car though, so resort-hopped easily to other resorts where QS was massively more appealing
It is one of the main reasons we haven't booked CBR for this year - or, more recently when booking for next year.
I can see it being a bit of a hassle though to resort hop using Disney transport. Easy if you're driving though?

You might want to check out the options at Riviera since they're pushing this as more of a deluxe offering, even though it's technically still on CBR grounds. I don't do many TS so didn't look at those menus, but there were a few QS items there I'd definitely want to try if in the area!

We haven’t been there but I think Sebastian’s Bistro looks lovely if/when it reopens and it’s somewhere I’d consider eating even if not staying at CBR. Tim Tracker did a vlog there when it first opened

Just to add that we weren't overly impressed with the food there during our first stay pre-refurb. Found it much better on our second stay, and also really enjoyed some of the options on offer at Spyglass Grill, which wasn't open in 2017.
We'll be trying out the Riviera options too and Pop is only a short ride in the Skyliner for something different. On the days when we did eat at the resort though, we were quite happy

I’ve only ever visited the resort but we loved it. We sat and had food and drinks in Banana Cabana which was really nice. Didn’t eat in Sebastians Bistro but it looked lovely inside. They’ve done a great job of the refurb and the whole resort is lovely IMO.
