Question Christmas 2021?

Guys what's your thoughts on going to Orlando/Disney this coming Christmas?

It's something we've always wanted to do. We are in the very early stages of looking (like 2-3 hours) but I got fairly good prices on flights departing Dublin on the 23rd of December and returning 31st December...I know it's only a 8 night stay and that's it's probably if not certainly the busiest time of year to go but I think it would be an amazing trip if we could make it happen.

I'm hoping because it's a full 6 months away and with no set backs things could be as back to normal as there going to get.

All thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated.

We've been twice at Christmas and its as amazing as you can imagine.. but so so busy. New Years is equally as busy.
Magic Kingdom is always at capacity at 9am but obviously with the covid restrictions you pre book the park.

We are booked for Xmas and are alternating between feeling very positive and then another variant appears and things become uncertain again. Everything we have booked is 100% refundable and if we have to we can postpone again

Planning for the best but waiting to see the US opens this summer and what people's experiences are. If the flights are refundable and you can afford them, why not?

We are booked for Christmas (18/12-3/1) also alternating between super excited and convinced it’s not going to happen! Everything I have booked is refundable/transferable if the plane goes we are on it the only reason we won’t be is if we have to isolate on our return (ds is gcse year so can’t miss any school)
I have heard it’s super busy but if it’s as magical as Disneyland Paris was at Christmas when we went it will be worth the crowds!

We have booked for New Years 29th dec - 12th jan!

I’ve been at Christmas time in 2016, it’s a fabulous atmosphere although yes it is very busy! We found the week before Christmas it wasn’t very busy at all but as soon as Christmas Eve hit through to new year it was very very busy! We did Epcot on NYE and it was 3.5hr queues for the big rides!
Still it was amazing and I’d do it again.

Hopefully this year the park reservation system will be on people’s side when it comes to Christmas !

We fly on the 18th too... except to New York... already moved it once, so fingers crossed this one goes ahead.

We are booked to fly out on Xmas day and back on January 7th. We booked last September and at the time we were in Rhodes and thought that as we had made it out there that there was no way we wouldn’t be travelling as normal 16 months later! Now I am pretty much 50/50 as to wether we will go but are still hoping.

We are booked with BA LGW-TPA 18th Dec -2nd Jan. really hoping we can go. Spending the first five days at Anna Maria Island & then have a condo in Windsor Palms for the rest of our stay,
Not sure whether we will do any theme parks yet but we will definitely be having a meal at the Bull & Bear might even be on Christmas Day!
