Disney Pin Display DIY report
I asked a while ago for tips to make a pin display board and could not find any guides on how to make one so I have made a display board for my pins Disney and Alton Towers. This is a craft report as trip reports are out of the window at the moment.
For this the tools you will need Scissors Knife Iron Staple Gun Hot Glue Gun. I started by finding a cabinet display board with a door - this is good so they do not get dusty or drop off and get lost. I opened it up Then I took off all the postcards and cut the string off that was holding them up. Because the pins would not stick to the back of the case I needed some cork to help The cork was too long and needed to be cut down Then I needed to find some fabric to cover it The fabric was measured fit over the cork with a 1-2 inch over lay on the back. Obviously looking at the fabric it needed to be ironed before attaching to the cork To attach the fabric to the cork I needed a staple gun. The corners were tucked in to give a nice flat look. The finished back of the cork To install the cork I needed a hot glue gun The glue was put only on the cork as it would not be any good on the fabric. the glue was put on and quickly positioned inside the case. Here is the finished Disney one with few pins in This is the first one I made but forgot to take pictures - Alton Towers pins Thanks for reading - I am not arty or crafty so this is just my effort be be able to look at the pins I have rather than being in boxes. They will be filled in as I get more sets of pins.

Great idea... even better that they don’t get dusty. 😊

They look great - and so much better than just leaving them in a drawer to get dusty (or lost as I have since discovered).
