April out of school holidays

We're going to florida for our honeymoon very start of April (which is before most of the UK school holidays)

Can anyone tell me what the crowds will be like? I realise we'll catch some of spring break.

I've pretty much always gone end of Oct during the Oct school holidays so in comparison to the how will the crowds be?

Also what kind of weather will be looking at?

Thanks!

Our school easter holidays falls the first two weeks of April. Easter is 1st april next year, i imagine it will be busy.

Although the crowds rise around Easter, most of April is decent. American schools will have spring break anytime from the end of March until the last week of April into May. Many districts plan theirs around Easter, others just the same week each year. Colleges and universities tend to be March/early April. Fewer families but more young adults.

Honestly, the UK holidays barely make a blip on Disney crowds as we make such a small percentage of their visitors (mostly domestic). It's mainly flight prices that will be affected.

Late March-early April will be the end of the spring break and Easter crowds. Very busy until around the 10th (from memory) and then moderate after that.

Upside is weather should be lovely. Warm to hot but the humidity shouldn't have kicked in yet.

April 2019 will be worse, as it's the lead up to Easter that has the crowds and it's not until the third week. Spring break is HUGE for Florida, not just Disney. Very very busy. Probably more so now that the parks are so Instagrammable so the college kids are flocking there for selfies. <- That's my old cynical self talking

2019 crowd predictions aren't out yet but basing it on the lead up to Easter 2018, they're predicted to be 7-9 level crowds for the three weeks leading up to Easter with a couple of level 10 days closer to Easter itself. If you're concerned about crowds, I'd consider delaying until early May when it should be quieter. Otherwise just go with a plan and fastpasses, you'll manage and still have fun.

Spring breaks makes an impact
Our Easter holidays not so much
I went while spring break was on last year and I've avoided like the plague next year
