The first one is what I got first. Second is cos I took out swirling saucers. I personally couldn’t wait 37mins. There is some waiting as there are show times so mgm is bit of a difficult park.
When we went we did swirling saucers twice in the first half hour as hubby and youngest wanted to go on it and tower of terror was down so me and eldest couldn’t go there.
You could always fit something else in like a meet and greet for Olaf or mickey in that 55mins which is what we did but we did that at the park after looking at the wait time and deciding we had had enough rest.

Thanks so much for this. Really helpful. I've been playing around a bit more and noticed a couple of things. Firstly, as I'd left my exit time as the default (9pm I think it was) it seemed happy to leave in massive gaps of 'free time'. I guess their algorithms work out what is the least queuing and walking time, but is happy to let you have free time. I can see why this is the case and I guess is still optimised (in that its mission is to reducing queuing and walking, not to reduce free time?)

It can be fixed by either putting more things in to the day, or putting the exit time to say 4pm and that automatically starts bunching things up.

You can also start specifying times for shows. I initially didnt do this as I wanted it to choose the best times. I think in reality I will still let it choose the best yome for shows, I will just bring in the exit time and if theres still free time stick in more activities.

Might be worth me creating 2 plan for the same day, optimising one and manually doing it myself until I get the results I want.

Thanks again for your help.

Yes I used to do a few. Also updated them closer to time too. Not everything will go as planned. I remember that we were supposed to go to little mermaid after hubby had done star tours but he obviously got sidetracked and we didn’t make the show so we filled it with other things then came back to it and walked straight on but we were lucky.
