Google - Making a document private
How do I do this please?
The scenario is a a document that has been shared with me and several others by my line manager. We all have to make a copy and complete the document, however we can all see each other’s in the drive. I know others are waiting for me to complete mine and will then use mine as a guide. I don’t mind sharing my work as such but I would like to share it back to my line manager first then I can open it up and the others can use it if they wish afterwards. How can I put privacy settings on it or restrict it when I’m not the owner. Thanks if you’ve got this far and actually understand what I mean! |

Yes, I understand exactly what you mean.
It sounds like the original is in a shared folder, When you make a copy save it in your own personal folder, then when you are ready to share it with your manager you can specify exactly who can see it. |
