What do you look for in a Villa?

Is the location the most important to you or does it have to have a games room?
Is how it's furnished the most important to you?
What about the price?
Just wondering what people look for when choosing there villa
Thanks xx

Non overlooked south facing pool is my No1 criteria. Not fussed about games rooms. Location would be my next order of importance. Would have to be the Formosa Area. Hope this helps.

I look for.

South Facing pool
Nice pool area with hot tub
Not near a main road
No fence around the pool - feels hemmed in
Nice Decor - no chintz or 90's pastels
BBQ
Cable TV
WiFi
TV's in bedroom
Games Room - nice but not essential
Keys picked up at house in lock box - no finding managment companies

The biggest thing is the chintzy furniture I can't stand it, silly I know, but it's a no no for me lol!

We have only rented a villa once (so far ) and for me the deciding factor was the pool. I was only prepared to go with one that wasn't overlooked and was preferrably south facing.

In the end we found one that was screened at both sides and backed onto an area with trees. It wasn't south facing but everything else added up (including the price) so we went for it.

Somewhere thats 'fresh' looking and 'looked after' we go down on the gulf coast, and dont stay in Orlando...

We also look for somewhere thats got a bit of land around it and is not squashed in...

I also have a good look at the pool area/furniture as I hate those cheap white plastic loungers...

I like the front of the villa to look well maintained, I also dont like loads of personal stuff inside the villa, we once stayed in one that had loads of family pictures and portaits on the walls.

Oh and in the bathroom, all those pretty glass vases etc, they look nice, but I'm terrified of breaking them, so I put them away, and put them back out when we leave

I like a tiled living area as i hate those dark carpets that some homes have.

Fox Soccer channel as the boys like to watch football when we are away.

South or west facing but i prefer south.

Air conditioned games room as usually in the garage and they can get stiflingly hot.

Less than 5 miles to Disney (ignore the minutes).

Padded lounge chairs and enough laying flat ones for everyone.

Price depends on my budget, a bargain is always good.

Free wifi

Up to date furnishings.

Easy check in, preferably in house if possible with a key code rather than driving up and down looking for a check in centre to pick up a key.

Pool over 30ft long with pool heat either included in the price or at a reasonable rate.

Edited at 08:56 AM.

The first thing that attracts me to a villa is the look of the outside...then i will pop in and have a look at all the other pictures of the inside of the villa...i like nice furniture...pool not overlooked... layout of villa & of course the price
