Solo Disney trip
Hello, just wanted some opinions please.
I've booked Disney tickets for me and Lynne, but unfortunately we have split up, and I'm wondering what your views are on me going by myself and wondering around the parks by myself? I know it seems a little weird but i wanted some feedback from you guys! Any advice is appreciated.

Not weird at all. I have done solo visits to Disneyland California and 2 solo visits to Disneyland Paris and have booked a solo Disney Cruise for September 2020.
Honestly Disney Parks are the ideal place for a solo visit. You get to do the parks how you want, you can do all the rides you want, when you want. You can eat at whatever restaurants you want, you can see the shows and entertainment you want. You don't have to compromise or miss out or have to worry about anyone's enjoyment. Some of my favorite solo memories
Lastly people are so wrapped up in their own enjoyment, most people never notice all the solo people in the parks. If you have the money and can get the time off work, then go to Disney. Edited at 02:03 PM. |

You will have a really good time. No one else to worry about. Lots of people to chat to.
Go for it. |

Also there even Facebook groups for people who go to Disney Parks solo. I'm in one for Disneyland California but I'm sure if you look there are groups for solo Disneyworld guests.
I also travel a lot solo, not just to Disney parks. I have been to LA solo multiple times as well as New Orleans and San Francisco. In Europe I have been to Lisbon Portugal, Belfast, Edinburgh and London multiple times solo. Solo travel is very liberating and very good for your mind and soul. |

I wouldn't find it strange at all, the amount of single people you see around Disney is quiet surprising when you take a moment to look. Get a camera and become a Vlogger, loads of them do Solo Trips, you'll blend in!

Do it! What’s the worst that can happen? You’ll regret it if you don’t.

I have done Disney California on my own, it is good fun and a chance to chat with people, if anyone gets funny tell them you lost the family!

I have LOVED my solo trips. What you miss out on in sharing experiences with someone you know is made up for with flexibility and sharing experiences with total strangers! You can do what you want when you want, have pretzels and beer for a meal, go to a show that no one else wants to see... I have done both Walt Disney World and Disneyland solo, with one or two family members, and with large groups. They're all fun for different reasons - you'll have a great time.
I don't think I've ever gotten a strange look or comment being alone -- lots of groups split up at some point during the day and lots of people ride things solo that their family doesn't want to ride -- you will be surprised to find solo travelers most everywhere. |
