Layover in Atlanta
Would a 3.5 h layover in Atlanta on the way back to UK be long enough, same airline but terminal change from S to I? Thanks

Yes, that will be plenty and most likely allow time for a meal or a drink as well.

A friend got from the arriving Virgin flight to the Delta gate in less than an hour last Thursday. Hopefully will be the same for us on Monday.

I hope so because I only have a 50 min layover planned in a few weeks time. Virgin are selling that as a viable connection time.

3.5 hours is fine.
We’ve got 1 hr 15 mins which was fortunately extended from just over an hour. We’ve made tighter connections at jfk with a terminal change so not worried (plus it’s on the way home so not the end of the world 😊 ). How did you know what terminals you land and take off? We’re with delta both journeys so hoping we won’t have too far to go. Edited at 11:32 AM. |

More than enough time, espcially on the way home as you don't need to do immigration. Stopped at Atlanta a few times now and find it really easy to navigate. You will just jump on the train that goes from the terminal you land at to the terminal you're taking off from.
