BA flydrive price increases ?

Hi all,

I’ve been stalking BA flydrive prices for about 2 weeks and for 2a 1c it has been roughly £1500 including an SUV group F vehicle from LGw to mCO.
Then today the prices have gone up to about £2400?
Our flight dates for July 2020 will be out in another couple of weeks, do you think the prices are likely to come back down again?

Probably. What you don’t know is the dates you are currently looking at what proportion if seats in each price band are available.

For example, as we get closer to November this year, I have seen prices rise, but, if I look at end February 20, prices are around the same as November was earlier this year.
It nay nit ve tge first week tgat your return us available, but yiu shoukd see a reduction after about a week, unless there is a strong reason why seats would be snapped up. Look at indirect also

Prices tend to fluctuate before them.

Prices would of been cheaper last week as they had 10% car hire off until the 16th.

Thanks all, I’ll have to wait it out and keep everything crossed :-).
I’m looking at the latest possible 2 weeks so today had a price with the return flight 10/7/20 which is the latest on sale.
My actual dates will be leaving around the 12/7/20 for between 14-17 nights. So will be a couple more weeks until the return flights are released.

I have been monitoring BA fly drive prices daily for the past few weeks.
For my proposed trip to LAX in Feb prices dropped after the centenary sale ended, but have increased slightly over the past two days to back to around "sale" prices.
I suspect slight fluctuations due to currency/oil prices being factored in.
