Easter or july/Aug

Were deciding whens best to go but there seems to be pros and cons for both times. We went on our first visit 13th May 2017 but took our children out of school, we cant do that next time as our son is starting secondary school this Sept and its not fair for him to play catch up. We dont mind a couple of days of school but not a week or more.
Has anyone experienced visits at easter or the summer hols? Im mostly concerned about the heat tbh. It was extremley hot last year 97 most days and were travelling with 2 over 60 who found it all tiring. The prices seem to be similar for both times and were paying nearly double to go in the holidays which is a sickener but its sooo worth it!
Thanks guys x

We generally travel in the summer but it is hoooooootttt! Feels like over 100 degrees each day. We manage it by being inside enjoying the air conditioning a lot and taking it easy and slow over the whole holiday. Lots of pool time too! But the last two weeks of August are definitely quieter.

We just went at Easter this year for the second time. Temperature was just lovely - perfect for sitting outside and walking around. But it was VERY busy. Much busier than I find it in the summer. That said, if you are prepared to get up early and take it steady over the holiday not planning in too much, you can have a great time at Easter.

It's a case of choosing the lesser evil!
