Heathrow lounges

Flying VH next aug from Heathrow T3 I believe, question I have is would you bother booking one of the lounges?

We are Manchester so not as relevant but our decision was based on, would we be wanting to eat when we get there, cost of drinks in the airport etc and finding somewhere to sit for 3 hours for 6 of us.

For us it was a no brainer as we are on a 9am flight, we would want breakfast and a drink or two before flying (alcohol is a definite no matter what time in the airport). The total cost for 5 adults one child using a discount code was �151.62 (works out at �25 each). We definitely would have spent that much in a restaurant at the airport so we went for it.

Very simple for me, I hate airports. The lounge is a much more relaxed environment, and for that alone I will be booking one of the T3 lounges before we fly next August. The fact that food and drink is included is just a bonus.

Definitely go for a lounge, hate the departures area
Heard virgin are looking a trying to make a V lounge at Heathrow 😀

We've got the No 1 Lounge booked for T3 at LHR next summer, but that is only because we booked last year and they gave us a credit note. I do like them though, very chilled out, and the teens love them!
