I called the jabs inoculations and apparently they are vaccinations according to my kids.

We say this to each other at home as well! DD tries to apply it to other things, like the free-jay (fridge - she’ll ask me ‘are there any Cokes left in the free-jay?), the con-serv-a-TORY (emphasis on Tory), and referring to going in my car (although not the make i’ve got), she’ll say Range Roover but put on a posh voice (she aspires to either me or her owning one in the future - sadly I only have a Honda &#128514.
Edited to add that DD is only 14yrs! (nearly 15).

Edited at 11:35 PM. Reason: extra text

My husband always calls the conservatory "the shed".

My sister hates the clasp of a necklace being in the wrong place but refers to it as a "doo-bre-dangle" so that's what we all call it now.

When the kids were younger they used to like these chocolate chip brioche bun things. That is a bit of a mouthful so we decided to call them ‘Bob’.
Also because of a multiple choice on Who Wants to be a Millionaire years ago…we say ‘turkey trots’ instead of goose bumps.
