Yes, you still require a negative PCR test with 3 days of arrival, you have a to have a ‘rapid’ PCR test on arrival (that’s free at the airport) and you need to be double vaccinated to avoid quarantine. Then the rules are as per every other green country for return to the UK; a negative LFT before travel and a PCR test on day 2.

How safe is it for a single female to go there? I don't plan on doing much apart from sitting in the sun and relaxing

What are the requirements for an 8 year old?Thinking about all options now,but I would be concerned about quarantine on arrival,can you leave your room?

They will need a PCR test before departure, the Barbados PCR test on arrival at the airport (free) and the day two PCR test on arrival back in the UK and to be travelling with fully vaccinated adults. So basically, everything the adults need apart from the LFT test before departure, which is over 11s only.

Yes, you can leave your room, use the pool and restaurants during the quarantine as long as you are fully vaccinated (or a child), but you can’t leave the hotel grounds, and that includes going on the beach as all beaches are public in Barbados. Word is that the test results are coming back quickly though, so you should be able to use the beach on your first full day.

I’ve never been on my own, but I’d say you would be absolutely fine. I have a friend who lived there as a single female and felt extremely safe.
