Needham Point... where the fort ruins are.
The Hilton is at Needham Point. Stayed there a few times before they knocked it down and rebuilt it.
I've only stayed at the new Hilton once, a couple of years ago. It has a lovely private beach with the lighthouse on the beach... makes for a good photo
It is only a few minutes from St Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown on the boogie bus.

I thought the same! I’m not paying £30k inc flights for 2 weeks in Barbados, I can buy another car with that!

Thanks for posting Folkie, I’m due to travel to Barbados on august 15th and had already planned to take my study materials should I be required to isolate at any point. Extra books and clothes will be going in the cases now along with anything else I can think of between now and travel day which will make life in government isolation a little smoother.

We stayed at the Savannah Beach with VH. It was lovely. Walked to the Hilton and into Pebble Beach or a free daily bus to Copacabana beach.

The beach right outside the hotel is fabulous for snorkeling. We saw turtles laying eggs and wild monkeys.

It's across the road from the race course which was great fun and a short Reggie bus ride to Bridgetown or Oistens.

We got a bargain price of about £4500-£5k all inc for 4 of us for two weeks but we have to share two double beds. This was August 2018.
