We have never been tempted by DC in all of the years we have been going to Florida and I am afraid your trippy has still not convinced me. I do like the look of Bahama Bay though, not sure if we would swap it for a villa as we love our own pool too much!

We had the most amazing day at DC back in 2007, such a different experience to last year sadly.

What a disappointment. They know how many guests to expect, they should kit up in advance and whoever pinched the kids vests in the afternoon should be ashamed of themselves. Andy would have let rip so I totally sympathise with your hubby. It's not a cheap day and you expect that little bit more

Great read, I was interested as we didnt do DC on our 1st trip last year and I want to do it next time as a surprise for my kids. It looks beautiful though, shame you had some problems

We have done DC 3 times and each time it has been brilliant. So sad that a beautiful day was spoiled in this way . I hope you wrote a letter of complaint (let Ade do it).

Funnily enough I did email a complaints letter listing our problems we had and also a link to this thread to read how we had been treated.

The reply was really disappointing and she had obviously not read everything properly as sh told me if the same problem were to happen again to contact a member of staff who will find some smaller life vests for us.

I didn't respond back.
Just feel disappointed.

What a shame that the day didn't live up to your expectations. I think Ade was right to stand up to the CM's who were being really unhelpful. You pay a lot for the day, and have the same right to the correct equipment as everyone else there.

At least you tried to keep your chin up, and managed to have some fun times with your family as well
