Excited about Disney

I have been watching your thread with interest - have thoughts for next year maybe... I too would be very interested to hear more about the food choices at Lapita and what is included within half board etc / kids options... (fussy kids and I am not much better!) Thanks in advance, it sounds like you are having an amazing time! btw - it's freezing back in the UK at the moment! (I always like to hear that when I am away!)

Hi happytraveller, I can’t wait to hear all about your trip, I think my ds would love it there too.
Re Emirates at the airport, they meet you before you get to immigration and give you a small info pack with your name on it-they tell you...pop your handbags through the scanners/clear immigration/get cases and then come out the other end and turn left. Another Emirates staff member is waiting for you here (all the staff have your names on a board so you can see them), she directs you to the Emirates desk and then a man took us to our taxi/car. It was lovely and easy. I’m not sure re the return transfer if they contact me or vice versa... I’ll givebthem a call if I don’t hear from them. Food hiddenmichelle is plentiful Breakfast they do muffins/cakes, pancakes/waffles with every type of sauce imaginable. Omlette station, eggs can also be poached etc.cereals, hams, salad,toast,fruit... this morning there was even smiley faces on the kids section. Beans... erm I can’t think of everything but there is literally loads. And ketchup for the kids Fresh juices and coffee/tea For dinner:breads, soup, pizza (freshly made in the oven) curry dishes, Chinese dishes, chicken, salad, selection of cold meats, rice, noodles, wedges, stroganoff, veggie lasagne and mousakka ,there were chips last night in the kids section and a huge tub of gummy bears for the kids, chocolate fountain... more desserts than I’ve ever seen... the food choice is ridiculous I will be on a strict diet when I’m back as I’m having far too much fun. Thank you for telling me it’s freezing... I know what you mean I always like that too. I will be following other Dubai trip reports when I’m back. Now I know why Collette loves it

Thanks Pixie That has been really helpful! Continue having loads of fun and enjoying the weather! The UK is meant to be in for a spell of really cold weather for the next week, so enjoy it out there

Getting excited now. Three weeks tomorrow and counting
I have always wanted to visit but unfortunately it does not appeal to DH so that is why it is just me and DD. Hope you are still having a great time x

That sounds a splendid way to spend the day Colette. I have been doing the same today whilst watching it snow through the window. The cold was a shock to say the least
My dh was the same Lynn and now he’s totally converted. I hope you have an amazing time
