how easy is orlando with no car?

I'm tentatively looking at 13 nights in last week Nov into December, looking at car hire prices (£1000) we are wondering if we could do a week onsite at a value Disney. Then a week on international drive and taxi to Universal/Sea World.

Any guesstimates on taxi costs to from i drive to sea world/universal and out of Disney? Is it doable on other transport methods? looking at the cheaper hotels like rosen inn we could even potentially walk as it shouldn't be too hot?

Also thinking it would save on parking costs.

The one fly in the ointment would be Busch Gardens.

We are mainly wanting to do all the new rides (velocicoaster and iron gwazi being the main pulls) as we havent been since 2013.

Any advice on a car free trip? thank you

It’s very easy to get about without a car, using Uber nd lyft is much cheaper than a comparable taxi, there is lynx bus, now having a car does give you 100% flexibility and that would always be my choice, but have done car free trips nd leats gotten about very easily

Easy. Even getting Uber/lyft every day will be far cheaper than current car hire costs. We’ve had car hire in lots of other destinations but we’ve never hired a car in Orlando, it’s never been necessary. Even BG, there’s a free coach from Orlando.

£600 will get you a decent car - just need to wait a bit for prices to drop.

Thanks.

Could you give a rough guess at costs? From say pointe Orlando to parks? Rough ball park?

I agree re flexibility it would be my preference but if we can do it cheaper then that's preferable.

It’s great, we used to hire a car but now we just use Uber, it’s a lot less stressful.

Not just hire price. Petrol. And I hadn't realised how much parking is.. If combined cheaper I can cope.

As above any rough ball. Parks to cost.

Also from airport to hotel. And back?
