Are Universal tickets set for any price hikes (as with Disney)?

Hi all,

As the title says really.

I know Disney 14 day ultimate are due to take quite a rise in price very soon.

Does anyone know if the Universal prices are set to increase dramatically soon? I know prices change by a few quid quite often, but I mean a noticeable difference.

I'm wanting to buy 3 Park Combo (with Volcano Bay) for 2017.

I don't want to put off buying them too long and kick myself if prices shoot up.

I know nobody has a crystal ball but just wondering if anyone had heard anything.

Disney's UK tickets are currently on special offer with 25% discount at the moment. This discount is due to end next week.

Universal's UK tickets are currently at full price. They went up by over 40% last year (from around £150 to £215 now).

Therefore, unlike Disney, Universal's prices won't be suddenly increasing soon. Their prices are not currently discounted and have already been hiked up and are already very expensive (see all the threads here on the DIBB earlier this year and last year).

Of course, prices can go up (and sometimes down) all the time. If you are happy with the price now then I'd suggest you buy them now or put a deposit on them.

Some food for thought.
