Solo: A Star Wars Story
So the first reviews are in after the world premiere and it’s got me all excited.
I was fearing that this wasn’t the film where it just wasn’t going to work. Trouble with the script and changing directors etc it had a tough time in some respects. However the initial reviews are overwhelmingly positive. One reviewer referred to it as a “classic space heist movie” and another commented how refreshing it is to watch a Star Wars movie that doesn’t involve a Death Star And I now can’t wait to go and see it at the cinema when it’s released. I just love Star Wars and these stand alone movies are great. If it’s half as good as Rogue One I’ll be happy. |

I'm really looking forward to this, but with some concern also
My brother brought me to Star Wars when I was 11 and it made such an impression. Hans has always been one of my favourite characters and trying to disassociate him with Harrison might prove difficult. I really hope it's a success

Really enjoyed it. Not quite up to Rogue One level for non-core SW films, for me...but close.
They say it 'tanked' here in the States its second weekend, but I'm not really sure why. I thought it was well done and true to its SW roots. |

Only a few months after Last Jedi (which really divided opinion in a lot of people), and up against Infinity War and Deadpool 2, with Jurassic World 2 coming out imminently.
I loved it. Far better than Rogue One which I thought was boring for the most part.

I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh and I loved all the references to stuff I already know about. I would happily watch it again.
