Aquatica - water shoes?
We are visiting Aquatica for the first time and usually wear the famous Hot Tuna water shoes from Sports Direct for Disney's BB and TL.
We are not planning on doing any drop slides so we'll be doing ring rides, raft rides and mat rides. Has anyone been recently and can say for certain if we are allowed to wear them on these rides? I understand not being allowed to wear them on any body slides but I'm not sure about the others. Thanks.

For the rides where you are not allowed to wear shoes, they have storage cubby-holes at the entrance to the ride where you can leave your water shoes/flip flops etc.
Although I lost count of the number of people who ignore these and carry on through. It's a long walk up and back down for some rides, especially the drop slides! People were always getting sent back down for shoes, certain clothing (some shorts not allowed and no loose t-shirts) and jewellery etc. and they won't just let you hold them either, it's either go back and leave them behind or don't go on the ride. |

Thank you for replying.
I can see why on drop slides or any body slides they are forbidden due to the risk of injury but sitting in a raft I can't see why they wouldn't let you. I know Aquatica has recently changed its rules on GoPros on rides. It used to be a blanket ban but now they let you take them on as long as you have a wrist strap or chest mount. That came from the latest Tim Tracker video. I was hoping that we could wear water shoes for some rides.

Pretty sure you can wear them on the type of rides you are looking to go on but it'll be clearly signed if not.

I’d take them and wear them and if you see the cubby thing at the bottom leave them there. If the cubby isn’t there then presumably you can wear them for that ride.👍
