Package or DIY for honeymoon?
Hi everyone,
We are getting married next year in May and we are currently planning our honeymoon for the end of July/beginning of August 2023. We have decided on a multi centre trip - 5 nights Singapore, 6 nights Borneo and 7 nights Langkawi before returning to Singapore for one night before our flight home. Normally I do all the planning for our holidays and do everything myself, but as it’s our honeymoon I thought it might be more secure to book through a reputable company. I enquired with trailfinders after a recommendation and gave them all the details (inc which airlines, hotels, room types, internal flights etc) and they have quoted over £14,000 which was a bit of a shock considering what I had priced DIY (despite being based on August 2022 prices) So I just wondered if anyone has any advice on if I should go with someone like Trailfinders for the security (they have a COVID peace of mind policy offering a full refund if there are any issues) or whether it would be secure enough to plan and book everything myself, and save some £££. TIA! Edited at 08:14 PM. Reason: Also posted in general trip planning |
