We parked at Stratford Westfield shopping center for our son's Young Voices concert at the 02 before, very easy on the tube. And just recently we parked in the Canada Square car park in Canary Wharf for an 02 gig - we were staying the night in the area but we had 24 hours parking for about £14 booked through Just Park. If you pre book it's a lot cheaper than the rates when you just turn up.

We normally park at Stanmore which is the start of the Jubilee Line from the north. It’s £6 a day and lots of parking. If busy you can park in the local area as only need a permit from 3-4 Monday to Friday.
Itll take quite a while to the o2 so if you didn’t mind changing it’ll be quicker. I normally swap to the metropolitan line from Wembley to Baker St so it skips lots of stops and can rejoin the Jubilee line then. |

We have parked at Westfield Stratford when we have gone to a gig at the O2 BUT we parked in the casino car park because it stays open until you get back. As far as I’m aware there’s nothing convenient along the jubilee line but there is parking at the O2 - just remember that the Blackwall Tunnel is a nightmare when something big is on.

If you’re coming from the north, then Stanmore. If you park too close to London, then you’ll have to pay the congestion charge which is expensive.

If your route south takes you to the east of London, have a look at parking at Newbury Park tube station on the A12 in Redbridge /Essex. Large car park that’s open until the tube closes down. 6 stops on the tube to Stratford, change onto the Jubilee line to North Greenwich. Short walk to the O2.
This is my route. Edited at 07:20 PM. |

The northern perimeter of the congestion charge is the Marylebone Road i.e. the road that Madame Tussaud’s is on so Central London itself.
£15 per day; operates 7 days a week, 7am - 6pm Mon - Fri & 12pm - 6pm Sat & Sun. Of more concern is the ULEZ which is a far bigger area; the boundaries are the North Circular road & the South Circular road. Operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day; If your vehicle doesn’t meet the emission levels, it’s a fee starting at £12.50 per day. If you drive into the ULEZ & then the Congestion zone, you need to pay both fees. |
