Could also be the airline rules, airlines can set their one rules regardless of the country rules.

Have you Checked with the airline ?
As you said the information came form OLCI, it might be a condition of flying with air Canada. |

Sorry not sure what OLCI is? The airline said children under 12 where exempt from vaccination, implying that those over 12 like mine aren't. However all the Canadian official websites say under 18s dont need to be vaccinated if transiting through and the US don't require it of under 18s... so conflicting information... arriveCAN also says all OK if transiting through.
Edited: just realised it's Online Check In 😆 Edited at 05:49 PM. |

If you use Reddit there is a Canadian immigration subreddit where you could ask. People there know EVERYTHING there is to know about immigration stuff.

You'll be ok, you already got confirmation from ARRIVECAN that is OK.
You're just transiting. I wouldn't discard indirect if it'll help you save money toward your holiday, eventually all these restrictions will be removed and everything back to normal.

I'm in the same boat with my daughter who is 12 and has only had one vaccination. I was in a panic mode last week about it, but researching certainly seems to shows that transitioning through is OK as long as you aren't leaving the airport. Have an amazing time, we are 6 days behind you transitioning through Montreal to Orlando
