Mobile Packing cubes

We’re a family of 5 doing 7 hotels in our trip and I don’t want to spend time emptying out suitcases for a night or two. I have sent for packing cubes thinking I would pack for each place in the cubes but I didn’t quite get how small they all are. How on earth is it best using them? I’m not going to get 4 nights clothes for 5 of us in one cube so I’m either going to have to have loads of them or maybe just use them for swim wear/ underwear etc?

Or does anyone have recommendations for large packing cubes that won’t break the bank as this trip is already doing that!

IKEA ones they do large ones you can by individually I can get one of them and 2 of the smaller ones in a medium case plus a roll up thing for our toiletries and my make up hair dryer etc
As we move on I just move what I need to to the next case

I think ours are actually the fabric drawer liners / case rather than packing cubes but the large ones do zip closed

I've got the cheap ones off amazon but have a range of sizes. I separated the clothes out into destinations, but only had 2 adults to pack for. Worked for me.

Maybe use them to spread everyone's clothes out amongst the suitcases and then move them around so you have one case per hotel. I am sure that others have better suggestions than I do!

I’ve just looked and the only ones I can see looked fab, but then I measured and they’re actually bigger than my case (which is big!) this is gutting as they’re pennies compared to the ones I got off Amazon.

Dh prefers the ikea ones to the expensive set I’ve got as he doesn’t even lift them out his case as he can see everything which believe me is a bonus no more of that where what ever he happens to be looking for at the time

We did multiple hotels on our last trip. I had packing cubes for each person, underwear, t shirts, bottoms, misc - swimwear, sweatshirts etc. It was so easy at each hotel, the suitcase stayed tidy, repacking took 1 minute. We each had a change of clothes in carry on, if you have more than one suitcase just replicate the cubes. Packing for each destination would never work for us, I don't know what I want to wear on a day weeks in advance.

I bought the Amazon brand Eono , plenty big enough for us

I got mine from Amazon and the set had a range of different size cubes. I pack a couple of days worth of stuff in one of the largest cubes and then I give this to DH to put into his luggage in case mine goes missing (he does the same).

But otherwise, no I do not pack cubes by day / stay, I have no inclination to plan what I am going to wear in advance! I pack each cube by type of item, all tops, all bottoms etc. I usually take a few dresses for the evening and I don’t put these in a cube at all. The convenience when moving hotel is that I just need to get three or four cubes out of my case and pop them straight into a drawer. Repacking at the end of each stay is also very quick.

I thought about packing the cubes by items and that would work well for me and DH but I just know the kids would be pulling all the stuff out if theirs and either I would end up repacking numerous times or they would end up stuffing their stuff back in and it would end up creased as anything.
