Best villa area

Hello,

Where, in your opinion, is the best villa area close to Disney, shops etc?

We are thinking about maybe buying a villa when we have finished paying our mortgage in 7 years (I know it's a long way off but I need to do loads of research).

Would appreciate any tips from fellow Dibbers who have bought a villa in Orlando as I don't have a clue where to start

The CR54 and US 27 area is where it is all happening at the minute. In 7 years time it will be somewhereelse so it is difficult to say really. You want within a 15 minute belt of Disney where most of the communities are anyway. They are starting to build further out (The houses are cheaper both in buying and renting as people have to travel further, but not everyone is out to visit the parks, so it depends what you are looking for). There is also the resale market to think about.

Good excuse to have a few holidays in Florida staying in villas in different areas to see what suits you!

Ask again in 6 years I would suggest. There is nobody on here who can tell you where the best place will be in 7 years time.
