Sorry to relaunch your old thread!
We are hoping to go back to New York next summer as part of a New England trip, and I really want to visit Coney Island, (hence my search and finding your great trippy!), but we are realistically only going to have two full days there, and I have so much stuff that I want to revisit/try in the city too! Can I ask - I see it takes an hour to get there - but how long were you actually there? Is it an all day, or morning only type of place (I guess we will literally want to do the same things you've done - walk the beach, stop for icecreams/hot dogs etc). Many thanks for any advice |

[QUOTE=princess_chazy;12316918]Hi Amy! Thanks for reading! I think we were done by lunchtime so there just a couple of hours (maybe 10--1 I can't remember exactly) 2 days isn't long but as long as your up early and out til late you should be good! [/QUO
That's great news! We are thinking we might head to Coney Island first thing and then spend the afternoon in Brooklyn before walking back over the Brooklyn bridge at sunset, then we would have one full day, and possibly the first afternoon (assuming we can get an early flight in) and the last morning (again, assuming we can get an afternoon train to Boston) in Manhattan. The only must do things for Manhattan will be the 9/11 museum and picnic/boating in Central Park, so I reckon we could just about squeeze everything we want to do in! Thank ever so much replying |
