A bit like the Tui "free car" posts which I've responded to a few times over the years. Often cheaper to ditch the free car than pay the extortionate fee to get the proper insurance

Gold Plus Insurance £600.60

But just noticed the Insurance price has dropped from £777.00 and that one of the options it covered you for has now been taken off.

But also another poster replied saying we dont have to opt for the car, i just looked again and cant believe ive not been paying attention and we can opt to not take a car in the package deal!

Will definitely be shopping around now as we would like to hire a car 🙂

I know that Mr Morrow will agree but please make sure that you get quotes from reputable UK brokers as it will usually ensure that you get the insurances that I mentioned earlier. Don't use a USA site as you'll probably get no insurance included and adding it at the airport desk will cost a fortune.

Yes, virgin holidays, refusing the car is cheaper... tbh I’ve been twice before with car hire and just fancy not driving this time...
