Have a look at Cruise Critic. On the forums you can see all sorts of info from deck plans to questions people ask, just like here on the Dibb. After lots of cruises I still go on there regularly to ask about things.
If you look on You tube you will find videos of the actual ship and rooms, which we found really helpful, especially for you with the bed situation.

Ooh so exciting. I booked Independence of the seas over the weekend for June 2022. This will be our 5th cruise. Its addictive so be prepared! Kids will love it. My 2 are 12 and 17. I couldn't imagine the 4 of us in one inside cabin. We normally get 2 x inside cabins interconnecting so we leave the door open at night and we have 2 x bathrooms to get ready.

Weve stayed 4 adults in an inside - for 4 nights it definitely wouldn't bother me, you only be in there for sleeping as there is so much to do.😁 I'd also rather than the wine than the wifi too 🍾😂. Weve always enjoyed our RC cruises

I went for the 3 night Bahama/Cococay cruise from Miami.

I’ve spent the day watching You Tube videos and Tiktok videos on cruising!

We just did a short cruise from Port Canaveral, to see if we liked cruising, and not really expecting to really. Now its my favorite holiday. We have 3 cruises booked one December and 2 February. Hope you and the kids enjoy it.
