Legoland
Your children are the perfect age and Legoland is an autistic approved park. Just remember to wear hats, it does not have a great deal of shade between attractions. |

Another thing for your trip that might help is the Hidden Disability lanyard that many UK airports now offer. I think it's most but definitely Manchester, Gatwick and Birmingham.
Useful for getting through security and also extra assistance if it's becoming too much for your son. |

You could also consider the Orlando Eye, Sea Life Centre and Madame Tussaud’s all in the same area on I Drive. There’s a recent Tim Tracker video where he visits all these attractions.
Attraction Tickets Direct currently have a combo ticket deal for all three for £16 per adult. Absolute bargain! Edited at 11:37 AM. |

We also fly out on 3rd April, on what is supposed to be a very cheap holiday. We aren't doing Disney but when we did Universal in June last year I upgraded to annual passes so they cost next to nothing. So the only tickets we have paid for is seaworld, Busch, aquatica and Legoland, this was around £125 each, so excellent value compared to other parks.
With your children's ages and love of animals I'd definitely recommend these parks. My daughter is 12, and loved universal last year, but not sure it's so good for younger children, my nephew is 5 and there was a lot he couldn't go on. We are staying in Lake Buena Vista, got a good deal on a condo but we did book early, the Clarion Inn is a nice budget friendly hotel.
