Cheese dip made with cheese slices

I realise how weird this sounds but I seem to remember seeing someone on here say they made cheese dip using cheese slices but I can't find it again. I make nachos for DH quite often but can't get a proper nice melted cheese dip to put over it/give him to dip into and wanted to give this a go. Anyone tried it? If so do you just melt the cheese slices in the microwave or is that stupid?

I am sorry this is really random but I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it.

Here All purpose flour is plain flour. I'm sure cheapy cheese slices would do just as well as American cheese slices.
1 cup of milk is 250ml.

I've made this before, normally heat milk then add teaspoon on cornstarch to thicken a little then add the chesse slices . Sometimes add chillis etc for a change.

Mmmmm that sounds nice. Jalepenos would be good.

I always make this with a bit of added liquid from the jar of jalapeņos, and some finely chopped too tastes so authentic! We have it over homemade chips (Slimming World!) with homemade chilli and loads of fat free greek yoghurt LOVE!
