Uber or Lyft

Which do you use and why?

Is one cheaper than the other? Better experience?

Any advice would be great for using the first time.

I've always used Lyft, it started when I was in CA and there were just more Lyft cars around and available than Uber at the times I needed them. I also find Lyft a little cheaper at the times I travel... the busier periods don't seem to get as high in cost.

Also, many of the drivers work for both... so the service is pretty much the same in my experience.

I used a Lyft super easy to use. I never downloaded the Uber app in the end but i think they are pretty much the same. What swung it for me is Lyft treat their employees better so thought this way I get cheap fares and the driver gets better treated win win

Up to now I have always used Uber, but for our next trip on Friday I have downloaded the Lyft app as a lot of people are having issues with Uber adding large amounts on to the bill for cleaning etc. Either way I am going to do a mini vlog as we get in/out of the cars to have evidence that we haven't caused any damage.

We used both - checked them both when we needed to ride and saw who was closer and/or cheaper, depending on what was more important for that particular trip.
If it was pouring with rain, we choose the closest car.
So many cars had both stickers on the windshield.
