Latest from US Hurricane Center...
And then there were two TS Karen sitting north of Puerto Rico expected to turn back on itself due to the passing remains of Jerry during Friday which will cause it to drop to a post tropical depression over the course of the weekend. Hurricane Lorenzo continues doing it's thing out in the tropical Atlantic, making its way north toward the Azores and eventually will rock up on the UK & Ireland toward the end of next week...hoping for a near miss because that weekend looks a howler if it does come across.

Not much change today, TS Karen will drop to PTD Karen and is now being rated as no threat to land as it breaks down. Hurricane Lorenzo carries on northward at Cat 4, thankfully this storm is out at sea at it's worst as winds are 145mph at present and the storm is huge - hurricane force winds going out to 45 miles from the eye and from there, tropical storm force winds out to 265 miles - windy is projecting the UK may have a close call with some of it late next week going into the weekend.

Silence is golden...
Focus of the hurricane season now starts to shift from the Atlantic to the Carribean and Gulf through October and the end of the season. Will update as things come around

Latest update...
Nothing much to worry about at the moment, unless you're in Florida just now where it's going to be rainy & thundery for the next few days.

Apparently they are 5 inches of rain down on the average, so no doubt it's much needed.

Latest update...
Nothing that should trouble Florida on the horizon at the moment, eastern Atlantic now starting to present less favourable conditions for development. The system coming toward the Cape Verde Islands is not expected to come across the Caribbean at the moment, it's expected to travel towards the Central Atlantic. Hopefully things will continue this way for the next few weeks and we can put hurricane season 2019 to bed.

Latest update...
Nothing that should offer any trouble to Florida at this time. System over cape verde islands will travel north westward, then break down.

Latest from US Hurricane Center...
Nothing coming across the Atlantic, all eyes on the Gulf. At the moment the weather system moving over Central America is travelling Northeastward and has a medium risk of development later in the week to a tropical cyclone, if things pick up it's worth keeping an eye on as it could turn to a more eastward and travel across the gulf. Only rated at 40% chance just now but it's worth keeping an eye on it.
